Two successful agents form a dynamic new group

Long & Foster Real Estate is proud to announce William Zimmer and Kevin Bare, sales agents with the Westham sales office, have formed The Zimmer Bare Real Estate Group. They will serve the greater Richmond area and will help their clients successfully in listing, purchasing, and selling property. 

The two real estate agents provide high quality, specialized, responsive service to clients moving from one home to the next. Patience, perspective, integrity, a sense of humor and the ability to analyze data with context are the qualities that embody the Zimmer Bare Real Estate Group. Residential real estate transactions can be stressful for many reasons and the ability to listen to what people need and keep things calm is what separates them from other agents.

The group will be donating a portion of each sale to Caritas in an effort to help individuals and families dealing with homelessness and/or addiction in the Metro Richmond area. 

Zimmer was raised in a ‘real estate family’ in Richmond and attended The College of Charleston in South Carolina. Beginning his career in Charleston, he started a clothing line and opened a successful clothing boutique and barbershop. Zimmer sold his interest in 2015 and moved back to Richmond where he launched into real estate sales with Long & Foster. His hard work, charisma, and true passion for his business has helped his reputation quickly rise as a qualified realtor. He specializes in all facets of the Real Estate business, whether navigating the way for first timers, trying to score that perfect distressed property, or providing help in the luxury market, he knows and has experienced it all.

An enthusiastic member of the Richmond community, when not working, Zimmer enjoys painting, golfing and spending time with his wife Melinda and daughter Teaghan. 

 The youngest of three siblings, Bare grew up in Richmond’s West End as the youngest of three siblings. He and his family were always on the go and lived very active lifestyles. Both of his parents worked for their employers for over 40 years, which is almost unheard of these days, but taught Kevin the importance of loyalty and dedication to their craft.

After 18 years in retail management and banking, Bare has come to know the significance of building client relationships and friendships.
