Long & Foster Real Estate welcomes Katrina T. Newsome to its Lawrenceville, Virginia office. Newsome will specialize in working with homebuyers and sellers.

Newsome is participating in Long & Foster’s Success Path program, which offers extensive training and resources for agents at any stage of their career. The program’s curriculum includes tools for agents to build their business, mentor-style programs, techniques for prospecting and working with buyers and sellers, skills for negotiating and more. Newsome holds membership in the Roanoke Valley-Lake Gaston Association of Realtors.

Newsome graduated from Brunswick Senior High School in 1998 and obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from Liberty University.  To add to Katrina’s accomplishments, she is the published author of “End Crabs in a Barrel Syndrome”.  In 2018 Katrina made the life changing decision to focus entirely on entrepreneurship and obtaining her real estate license, then was introduced to agents and the manager of Long & Foster’s Lawrenceville office. Newsome’s passion to help build her community is the driving force behind this incredible opportunity.

A volunteer with Girl Scout Troop #1285 in Emporia, Virginia, Newsome is an active member in the Brunswick county and the surrounding areas.  She plans to take part in the movement to improve Brunswick County while recruiting others to help.   Newsome resides in Brunswick County with her husband and three sons.
