Long & Foster Real Estate welcomes Katie Prescott to its Oceanfront/Coastal office in Virginia Beach. Prescott will specialize in working with homebuyers and sellers.

Prescott is participating in Long & Foster’s Success Path program, which offers extensive training and resources for agents at any stage of their career. The program’s curriculum includes tools for agents to build their business, mentor-style programs, techniques for prospecting and working with buyers and sellers, skills for negotiating and more. Prescott holds membership in the Hampton Roads Realtors Association.

Prescott grew up in Chesapeake and lived in Charlotte, North Caroling for seven years before moving back to the area. After beginning her studies in elementary education at Old Dominion University, she left to begin a career as a flight attendant. A few years later, she returned and completed a degree in communications with a focus in International and Intercultural Relations with a minor in Political Science.

While working as a flight attendant, Prescott also spent time tutoring autistic children and doing some work in marketing.

Prescott has been married to her husband Nick, for two years. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with her husband and her dog, Albus.
