Long & Foster Real Estate, the largest independent residential real estate company in the United States, welcomes John F. Burke, a real estate professional since 2011, to its Sea Isle City, N.J., office. Formerly with Sea Isle Realty in Sea Isle City, Burke brings a strong passion and boundless energy to Long & Foster.
“The keys to success are understanding my clients and their needs, honesty and concern, market knowledge, and attention to detail,” Burke said. “My goal is to serve in the acquisition or sale of property in a way that alleviates worry and helps my clients rest assured in their property decisions.”
A native of Turnersville, N.J., Burke began his love affair with the Jersey shore at an early age, spending his summers in Ocean City, Sea Isle City, Avalon and Stone Harbor, N.J. He graduated from St. Augustine Preparatory School in Richland, N.J., and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy from Fordham University in New York City.
Prior to his real estate career, Burke worked in restaurant service and management in western Massachusetts, the Gold Coast of Florida and historic Philadelphia. He also served as a public school teacher in the Washington Heights section of New York City as a NYC Teaching Fellow.
“We are pleased to welcome John to the Long & Foster family,” said Terry Spahr, regional manager of Long & Foster’s Coastal region. “Our commitment to our agents and their clients is a top priority, which has enabled us to grow to become the place where more and more of the most innovative, successful and talented agents—like John—choose to call home.”
