Irene deLeon Joins Long & Foster’s Great Falls, Va., Office

Long & Foster Real Estate, the largest independent residential real estate company in the United States, is pleased to announce that Northern Virginia native Irene deLeon has joined the Great Falls office at 9841 Georgetown Pike in Great Falls, Va. She brings to her position a wealth of experience in residential real estate sales, as well as corporate sales and management.

A professional in the real estate industry for the past 12 years, deLeon was a multimillion dollar producer with another local firm before joining the Long & Foster family. She has a proven track record working with traditional sellers and buyers, as well as with first-time home buyers, seniors and real estate investors.

She is trilingual, speaking English, Spanish and Italian, which allows her to serve more effectively the diverse clientele in Northern Virginia. In addition, deLeon has significant experience in short sales and foreclosure sales, having worked with several financial institutions as a Real Estate Owned (REO) agent.

Prior to entering the real estate business, deLeon worked in telecommunications industry at Sprint and GTE Telnet. In those roles, she handled direct sales and also managed sales teams of professionals who worked with Fortune 100 companies, U.S. multinationals, foreign multinationals and foreign governments.

deLeon is a member of the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors, the Virginia Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. She also belongs to the Women’s Council of Realtors (WCR) and was influential in starting the local WCR chapter in the Northern Virginia area in the mid-2000s. In addition to her real estate involvement, deLeon volunteers as a docent with the Supreme Court of the United States, lecturing on the history of the court and providing private tours.

Additionally, deLeon holds the prestigious Graduate, Realtor Institute (GRI), Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) and Broker Price Opinion Resource (BPOR) designations and is a Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE). She is a graduate of James Madison University, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in business administration and foreign languages.
