Long & Foster Real Estate, the nation’s No. 1 independent real estate brand by sales volume, welcomes The Glaser Group to its Grove Avenue office, located in Richmond, Virginia. The Glaser Group has been in the real estate industry for the past nine years and are a top-producing team in the Richmond metropolitan area.
“I’m thrilled to welcome The Glaser Group to our family. They are known throughout the Richmond market for exceeding their clients’ expectations and delivering results, and that’s the same reputation we’ve built at Long & Foster over the past 20 years we’ve been doing business in Richmond,” said Brian Haug, senior vice president and regional manager of Long & Foster Real Estate in Richmond, Southwest Virginia and Hampton Roads. “With the combination of our teams now working together, I’m confident we’ll achieve even greater success for area buyers and sellers.”
Alex Glaser, his wife, Lauren Glaser, and Joseph King comprise The Glaser Group. A native of Richmond, Alex Glaser graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree concentrating in real estate. After working alongside a contractor, learning the ins and outs of how homes are built and repaired, he realized his passion for helping people buy and sell their homes. In 2009, he entered the real estate market as a sales associate with a local franchise brokerage. Alex Glaser is now a certified Seller Representative Specialist (SRS) and a Seniors Real Estate Specialist, and he is always working to add more designations to his name.
In 2013, his wife, Lauren, joined him and they officially formed The Glaser Group. In 2016, King joined The Glaser Group as a buyers specialist, and the three have been dominating the real estate market ever since, including being named the No. 1 Best Real Estate Agent in Richmond by Style Weekly in 2017.
To The Glaser Group, though, true success is measured not by sales numbers and awards, but rather by the dozens of client referrals they receive year after year—a result of their commitment to providing unparalleled customer service. Attentive, innovative, relentlessly hard-working and exceptionally responsive are just some of the shimmering endorsements their clients have generously offered both online and in person.
“The Glaser Group brings the ideal combination of skills and values to the real estate business—they’re experts on the local marketplace and the real estate process and they’re committed to making that process easy for all their buyers and sellers,” explained Dawn Bradley, manager of Long & Foster’s Grove Avenue office. “I’m thrilled to have them as part of our team and know that our focus on our agents and their success, as well as the many tools and technology we provide our associates, will help them to grow their business even further.”
Both of the Glasers are huge animal lovers and pet adoption advocates. They have vowed to make donations to the Richmond Animal League,a local no-kill shelter, for every buyer or seller they help. Since January 2017, the Glasers have donated almost $14,000 to the shelter, enough to save over 65 pets and have sent more than 50 shelter dogs on Adventure Walks with Canine Adventure, a local dogwalking and pet-sitting business. They call this effort to give back to the community “Sell A House, Save A Pet! Buy A House, Help A Pet!”
