Long & Foster Real Estate, the largest privately owned residential real estate company in the United States, welcomes Gene Cousens as a sales associate in its Bethany office at 33298 S. Coastal Highway in Bethany Beach, Delaware.
“We are excited to announce that Gene Cousens has joined our team of highly trained professionals,” said Gary Scott, president of Long & Foster Real Estate. “As the No. 1 brokerage in the Mid-Atlantic region, we operate with an agent-first mentality. We look forward to the energetic partnership Gene has created by deciding to join the industry-leading Bethany office and our company.”
Cousens and his wife relocated to the Bethany Beach area two years ago. They both were real estate agents for Long & Foster in Ellicott City, Maryland, and worked successfully with clients located in the Baltimore metropolitan area.
Having personally experienced purchasing a second home and then relocating to Ocean View, Cousens wanted to continue his career with Long & Foster because with Long & Foster’s cutting-edge technology and focus on exceptional service, he could better assist his clients. Cousens also has years of experience as a new home community salesperson. He understands that now, as a buyer’s agent with Long & Foster, he will represent his client’s best interests at all times.
Among his many achievements, Cousens is most excited about his professional certification as a Resort and Second Home Property Specialist. This certification means that he has the specialized skills, knowledge and insight to help both buyers and sellers make informed decisions about second home properties for vacation, investment and retirement.
“Long & Foster continues to lead the way with cutting-edge tools and technology, which attracts top real estate professionals to our company, says Dottie Wells, manager of the Bethany office. With the best-trained, best-equipped agents, Long & Foster continues to help buyers and sellers reach their homeownership goals.”
