Schadt moved from Virginia Beach to Emerald Isle, North Carolina at the age of one. She grew up in the restaurant business and has a degree in hospitality management. Her love of helping others is what led her to Real Estate.

In 2011, Schadt moved to the Eastern Shore with her husband Christopher, and they settled in Cape Charles. They have two sons, Fisher and Mattix.
