Donna Marie Harris, a sales associate with Long & Foster Real Estate’s Roanoke office, has been appointed by the Roanoke Valley Association of Realtors to serve on its board of directors as immediate past president. The board is responsible for overseeing the association’s activities.
“I am honored to serve our association as past president. I enjoy being a part of and working with this amazing organization and its members, affiliates and wonderful staff,” Harris said.
A Realtor since January 2006, Harris has been affiliated with Long & Foster’s Roanoke office for a number of years and has earned Long & Foster’s Rookie of the Year Award, as well as membership in the President’s Club and Chairman’s Club of the Long & Foster Gold Team. Harris also holds the professional designations of Graduate Realtor Institute, Accredited Buyer’s Representative, and Short Sales & Foreclosure Resource.
Harris has been an active member of the Roanoke Valley Association of Realtors for 11 years, and has served on its board of directors and the MLS Policy Committee.
Active in the community as well, Harris is an affiliate member of the Roanoke Valley Breakfast Lions Club and attends New Life Christian Ministries. Harris is a Roanoke resident and has two grown sons.
