Donna Marie Harris, a sales associate with Long & Foster Real Estate, the largest family-owned residential real estate company in the United States, has been installed as president of the Roanoke Valley Association of Realtors.
“I am honored to serve our association as president. I enjoy working with and being a part of this amazing organization and its members, affiliates and wonderful staff,” Harris said.
A Realtor since January 2006, Harris has been affiliated with Long & Foster’s Roanoke office since the beginning of her career, and has earned Long & Foster’s Rookie of the Year Award, membership in the President’s Club and Chairman’s Club and is a member of the Long & Foster Gold Team. Harris also holds the professional designations of Graduate, Realtor Institute, Accredited Buyer’s Representative, and Short Sales & Foreclosure Resource.
Harris has been an active member of the Roanoke Valley Association of Realtors for 10 years, and has served on its board of directors and the MLS Policy Committee.
Active in the community as well, Harris is an affiliate member of the Roanoke Valley Breakfast Lions Club and attends New Life Christian Ministries. Harris is a Roanoke resident and has two grown sons.
