Donald Tomlinson, regional vice president and managing attorney of RGS Title, has been appointed to the Virginia Land Title Association’s (VLTA) board of directors. Tomlinson will serve as the director and editor of the VLTA Examiner Monthly magazine.

A real estate professional for more than a decade, Tomlinson has worked in residential and commercial real estate in Northern Virginia, in both a transactional and litigation capacity. Prior to joining RGS Title, Tomlinson was a solo practitioner in Prince William County, with a law practice focused on corporate law, commercial and residential real estate, and estate planning. Before moving his focus to the real estate field, Tomlinson worked for the Air Force as a legal and technical advisor and as political director for a trade association on Capitol Hill.

Tomlinson grew up in West Virginia, where he attended West Virginia Wesleyan College. A graduate of George Mason University’s Antonin Scalia Law School, Tomlinson is licensed to practice law in Virginia. He is married with three children.
