Denise Ramey, a sales associate with Long & Foster Real Estate, has been appointed by the Virginia Association of Realtors to serve a three-year term on its board of directors.
“I am passionate about my profession and my clients’ property rights. I’m excited and honored to have the opportunity to represent Virginia Association of Realtors members,” Ramey said.
A Realtor since 2006, Ramey has been affiliated with Long & Foster’s Charlottesville Old Ivy Sales office since 2014. Ramey was awarded the Long & Foster Gold Team Achievement Award for 2014. In 2015, she was inducted into the prestigious Long & Foster Gold Team Master’s Club, the company’s highest honor for top sales producers. She is also top producing, top listing and top selling agent for the Charlottesville Old Ivy Sales office. Ramey holds the professional designations of Accredited Buyer’s Representative and Graduate, Realtors Institute.
Ramey has been an active member of the Virginia Association of Realtors for many years. She served on the board of directors for the Charlottesville Area Association of Realtors (CAAR) from 2008 to 2014 including serving as president of the association in 2013. She was chosen as a member of the Virginia Association of Realtors Leadership Academy in 2009, has been a member of the CAAR Professional Honor Society since 2008, and was inducted into the Virginia Association of Realtors Honor Society every year since 2010.
Ramey was honored by the CAAR as the Sales Associate of the Year in 2013 and she was voted Realtor of the Year by the CAAR in 2015. Additionally, Ramey has been voted as the favorite real estate agent in Charlottesville by “Charlottesville Family” readers since 2009.
Ramey holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida. She lives in Crozet, Virginia, with her two sons, Casey and Kyle, and their dog, Bailey.
