Long & Foster Real Estate welcomes Dawn Johansen to its Chincoteague, Virginia office. Johansen will specialize in working with homebuyers and sellers.

Johansen is participating in Long & Foster’s Success Path program, which offers extensive training and resources for agents at any stage of their career. The program’s curriculum includes tools for agents to build their business, mentor-style programs, techniques for prospecting and working with buyers and sellers, skills for negotiating and more. Johansen holds membership in the Eastern Shore Association of Realtors.
Johansen grew up in Staten Island but moved to the Eastern Shore in 1991. She attended Staten Island Community College, as well as The Hampton Roads Criminal Justice Training Academy.
A love of horses has led Johansen to spend many years in the harness racing industry as a driver/trainer. She is also affiliated with the United States Trotting Association and the American Warmblood Association. She is also an artist and photographer and currently runs an artist retreat in the Chesapeake Bay village of Hunting Creek.
