Nowlin holds a registered nurse diploma from Louise Obici School of Nursing, attended Paul D. Camp Community College and Norfolk State University where she obtained a Bachelors of Science in nursing, in Norfolk, Va. She resides in Virginia Beach along with her spouse, Ken, and three children.
