Long & Foster Real Estate welcomes Christopher Johnson to its Grove office in Richmond, Virginia. Johnson will specialize in working with homebuyers and sellers.

Johnson is participating in Long & Foster’s Success Path program, which offers extensive training and resources for agents at any stage of their career. The program’s curriculum includes tools for agents to build their business, mentor-style programs, techniques for prospecting and working with buyers and sellers, skills for negotiating and more. Johnson holds membership in the Richmond Association of Realtors.

Johnson is a Richmond native and currently resides in Midlothian with his wife and two children. He served over nine years in the U.S military and returned home to Richmond after spending a year in Iraq. Johnson is extremely passionate about supporting veterans’ causes and is excited to help veterans in his new role as a buyer’s agent for The Strum Group at Long & Foster’s Grove office.
After Iraq, Johnson obtained his master’s in business administration from the University of Richmond. Sports and volunteering are two of Johnson’s biggest passions. He coaches youth soccer at the YMCA and has been a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America for over 16 years. Johnson has served as Board Treasurer of the organization for six years and is now the treasurer of the Relationship Foundation of Virginia, a non-profit that supports fatherhood, marriage, and healthy youth relationships across Richmond and in surrounding communities.
