Top-producing agents bring over 10 years’ experience in Prince William County
The Capalbo Team, a top-producing real estate team with over a decade of experience, has joined Long & Foster Real Estate, the largest independent residential real estate company in the United States. The Capalbo Team, which is lead by Carolyn and Steve Capalbo, comes to Long & Foster from a competing local brokerage, where they managed a thriving real estate business selling over $56 million in residential real estate in 2013 alone. The team will affiliate with Long & Foster’s Alexandria/Old Town Historic District office while continuing to serve all Northern Virginia counties.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Carolyn, Steve and the entire Capalbo team to our family of highly trained professionals in Northern Virginia,” said Larry “Boomer” Foster, senior vice president and regional manager of Long & Foster’s Northern Virginia/West Virginia region and incoming president of Long & Foster Real Estate. “As the No. 1 brokerage in the Mid-Atlantic region, we operate with an agent-first mentality. We look forward to the energetic partnership Carolyn, Steve and their team have created by deciding to join our company.”
Since starting her career in real estate, Carolyn Capalbo’s success has been driven by her strong dedication to her clients. With a degree in economics, a background in finance, as well as direct experience with Permanent Change of Station (PCS) relocation as a military spouse, Carolyn Capalbo is able to provide outstanding service and advice to home buyers and sellers in Prince William County and the surrounding areas.
A member of the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors (NVAR) Multi-Million Dollar Club, Carolyn Capalbo consistently ranks among the top residential real estate agents in Northern Virginia. She also recently earned the prestigious Certified Distressed Property Expert designation, which gives her added insight into foreclosure avoidance and short sales.
Steve Capalbo, Carolyn Capalbo’s husband and business partner, serves as the managing partner of the duo’s real estate team. He has worked in this capacity since 2005 and began actively assisting clients with real estate sales in 2010. Steve Capalbo brings to his role a wealth of experience in both corporate business and the military. He worked at IBM Global Business Services from 2004 to 2010, assisting with the company’s defense business, and prior to that, he served 20 years in the U.S. Army, retiring from the Pentagon as a Lieutenant Colonel.
“As Realtors in Northern Virginia, we’ve worked with many Long & Foster agents over the years, and we’ve always been impressed by the company’s focus on providing their buyers and sellers with exceptional service, while also encouraging their agents’ careers,” said the Capalbos. “We’re confident that with the backing of the Long & Foster team, as well as the firm’s valuable marketing and technology tools, including its affiliation with Christie’s International Real Estate, we’ll be able to help our clients achieve even greater success in real estate.”
Forrest Odend’hal, managing broker of Long & Foster’s Alexandria/Old Town Historic District office, also shared his enthusiasm for welcoming the Carolyn Capalbo Team to the Long & Foster family.
“I have always had the upmost respect for Carolyn, Steve and their team,” said Odend’hal, who worked in the Prince William County area for 24 years before moving to Long & Foster’s Alexandria, Va., location. “It has been my pleasure working with them over the years and observing first hand their exceptional customer-centric business approach, which involves the upmost professionalism and ethics.”
