Long & Foster Real Estate, the largest independent residential real estate company in the United States, welcomes Bheem Bhat to its Devon office in Devon, Pa. Bhat has joined the Devon office’s satellite location at Wayne and will be working with the Art Herling Team. The Wayne location is managed by Devon Manager and Vice President Janet Rubino.

Formerly with Berkshire Hathaway Home Services-Fox & Roach in Malvern, Pa., Bhat is a 27-year resident of Chester County. He is dedicated to guiding buyers and sellers in their real estate decisions, representing his clients’ interest with care and knowledge of the marketplace while striving to provide his clients an advantage during negotiations. He is licensed in both Pennsylvania and Massachusetts, and was a member of the President’s Circle Team and a Value Creation Specialist at his former broker.

Prior to his real estate career, Bhat was a biopharmaceutical research scientist for more than 21 years, and was also a project team leader and discovery scientist in the areas of vaccines, bone cell biology and osteoporosis. He holds a Ph.D in medical microbiology from Delhi University in Delhi, India and did post-doctoral work at Washington University Medical School and St. Louis University Medical School. He also holds a Master of Science in medical microbiology from Kasturba Medical College in Karnataka, India and a Bachelor of Science in biological sciences from St. Aloysius College, Mangalore, Karnataka, India.
Bhat is multi-lingual and speaks fluent Hindi, Kannada, Havyaka and Tulu. In addition to real estate, he serves the community as a certified yoga instructor at the YMCA in West Chester, Pa. As needed, Bhat also volunteers his time with youth enrichment project counseling and as a registered science fair judge for the Chester, Delaware and Montgomery county school districts in the tri-state region.
