Long & Foster Real Estate welcomes Barbie Summers to its Ocean Front office, located in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Summers will specialize in working with homebuyers and sellers.

Summers successfully completed Long & Foster’s STEP Builders program, which offers extensive training and resources for agents at any stage of their career. The program’s curriculum includes tools for agents to build their business, mentor-style programs, techniques for prospecting and working with buyers and sellers, skills for negotiating, and more. Summers holds membership in the Virginia Association of Realtors.

Summers is originally from Miami, Florida, and relocated to Virginia Beach in 2009. She is Hispanic and is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, and is highly trained as a project manager. She has strong international business experience with more than 20 years working in various administrator and management roles in diversified industries, including the government. Her attention to detail and keen negotiating skills will benefit her clients with their real estate needs.
Summers is a wife and mom to three active boys – a teen, a tween and a toddler. She’s an involved member with her church and enjoys anything related to making a house into a home, from renovating to decorating. She loves to travel and is passionate about learning of different cultures and their traditions.
