Barbara Quackenbos Joins Long & Foster’s Chesapeake, Virginia Sales Office

Long & Foster Real Estate welcomes Barbara Quackenbos to its Chesapeake, Virginia sales office. Quackenbos will specialize in working with homebuyers and sellers.

Quackenbos is participating in Long & Foster’s Success Path program, which offers extensive training and resources for agents at any stage of their career. The program’s curriculum includes tools for agents to build their business, mentor-style programs, techniques for prospecting and working with buyers and sellers, skills for negotiating and more. Quackenbos holds membership in the Hampton Roads Association of Realtors.

Quackenbos has lived in Chesapeake for 24 years with her husband, David. She graduated from Duke University with degrees in mathematics and computer science. Quackenbos was a Chesapeake Public School teacher for seven years. She is actively involved in her church, teaching women’s Bible studies and acting as a Life Group administrative coordinator. She has two sons, a daughter-in-law, and a grandson. Her oldest son David, wife Elise, and grandson David Thomas live in the Raleigh area. Her younger son Matthew, is a senior at Grassfield High School. Quackenbos enjoys traveling, spending time in the Outer Banks, and playing with her grandson. She is excited about being part of the Long & Foster team.
