John VanderSyde, manager of Long & Foster Real Estate’s Strawberry Street office, congratulates Ann VanderSyde on celebrating her 17th year anniversary as a sales associate with Long & Foster Real Estate.
Ann VanderSyde initially joined Long & Foster as a member of the Virginia Properties office and is currently affiliated with the Strawberry Street office located in the heart of historic Richmond. She is an active member of the Richmond Association of Realtors and Central Virginia Multiple Listing Service.
She started her real estate business strong, receiving the A. Kenton Muhleman, Jr. Scholarship Award for top new agent of the year by the Richmond Association of Realtors in 2008. She has been a top-producing agent and listing leader with Long & Foster ever since. She received her Associate Broker license in 2011 and is driven to represent those she serves with the highest level of professionalism.
“Congratulations to Ann for her many years of dedication, hard work and exceptional service to her clients,” said Dawn Bradley, regional manager of the Richmond and Charlottesville regions. “We are fortunate to have her as a part of the Long & Foster family.”
A graduate of Georgetown University, VanderSyde earned her master’s degree from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She was a student-athlete in track and long-distance running in high school and during her college career at Georgetown University. After settling in Richmond in 1994, VanderSyde had a business as a decorative artist for 14 years, prior to becoming a Realtor. The transition into real estate has been an excellent fit for her skills and experience. She has been successfully helping buyers and sellers manage their housing needs, which is reflected in the countless testimonials she has received from her clients throughout the years.
Her husband and current supervising broker, John VanderSyde said, “We like to joke that Ann’s psychology background and aptitude as a decorative artist make her invaluable to her clients. But honestly, she has the innate ability to immediately connect with people, which puts them at ease while she thoroughly covers all aspects of the real estate business. Her clients know they are in safe, capable hands as soon as she gets started with them. These are the traits we all look for in a real estate professional.”
“We offer our sincerest congratulations and thanks to Ann for her continuous years of dedicated work,” said Jackie Thiel, president of Long & Foster Real Estate. “Ann is one of many examples of Long & Foster’s highly trained professionals who go to great lengths to best serve clients seeking the total homeownership experience, and we wish her continued success in her real estate career.”
