“Both of my parents were brokers in real estate.” said Parsons “Though my mom went back to teaching when the interest rates hit 18%, my dad never left the business. They were always talking real estate at the dinner table where I learned things I never knew I would need.”
Parsons grew up in the Far West End of Richmond and has been there for over 55 years.
“Richmond has grown tremendously in these years, and I have seen many changes,” said Parsons. “I love this city and love where I live.”
Parsons has one daughter in Washington D.C. and her partner, Tom Blake is a retired physician who has two daughters. Parsons is pleased with the warm welcome she has received have received from the Long & Foster Grove Avenue office and she looks forward to working alongside the professionals there.
