Allison Stine, a top-producing Realtor who leads The Allison Stine Team of Long & Foster Real Estate, has been named the 2016 Realtor of the Year by the Sussex County Association of Realtors. She was presented with the award, which recognizes agents for their ethics, character and service above self to both the profession and the community, at the SCAOR 100 Year Realtor Party on June 23.
“I am honored to have been chosen by the Sussex County Association of Realtors to receive this prestigious award,” Stine said. “I’ve worked very hard in my career but I always try to find the time to volunteer in the community as well as for the association. It’s difficult to strike that balance, but very rewarding to be of service to others.”
The SCAOR Realtor of the Year award is given to a “member who exemplifies the Realtor image and goes beyond the call of duty,” according to the association. This includes the honoree’s activity in their local, state and national Realtor associations, their business accomplishments, civic activity, contributions to the industry and their Realtor spirit.
Affiliated with Long & Foster’s Bethany Beach office, Stine has served as a board member of the Long & Foster Gold Team, of which her team ranks in the Master’s Club. She is also ranked as one of the company’s Top 100 Elite Performers out of its more than 11,000 sales associates company wide. Each year since 2007, her team has earned recognition within Long & Foster for its high production of both sales and listings, in addition to being named the Bethany office’s Top Team of the Year and earning the office’s 1st place award for outstanding service.
“Long & Foster is proud that the Sussex County Association of Realtors has recognized Allison’s many accomplishments and her commitment to the industry,” said Dottie Wells, manager of Long & Foster’s Bethany Beach office. “Allison is a true professional, and her dedication to her clients and the community, is a testament to her passion for the real estate industry.”
“It’s the commitment of agents like Allison, as well as her team, that has enabled her to earn an honor such as this one, and we’re proud to have her as part of the Long & Foster family,” said Gary Scott, president of Long & Foster Real Estate. “Our company has a reputation of honesty, integrity and best-in-class customer service that spans 45 years, and the talent of professionals like Allison’s is why we remain the top real estate company in the Mid-Atlantic.”
Stine, who was a nominee for the Realtor of the Year award in 2013, previously served as the chair of the Sussex County Association of Realtors MLS Committee, is a five-time winner of the Five Star Real Estate Agent award and has earned the advanced designations of Certified Residential Specialist and Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager. She has been recognized for her exceptional performance by the Realty Alliance Group, ranking her in the top 5 percent of residential real estate professionals in North America.
