Long & Foster Real Estate, the largest family-owned residential real estate company in the United States, welcomes Alex Boston to its Falls Church office, in Falls Church, Va. Boston will specialize in working with homebuyers and sellers.

“We are very excited and fortunate to have Alex join our team of highly trained professionals,” said David Gillis, manager of the Falls Church office. “The combination of Long & Foster and Alex’s unique skills and knowledge will no doubt provide the highest level of service to local buyers and sellers.”

Boston successfully completed Long & Foster’s Star Builders program, an extensive training course for newly licensed sales associates, as well as associates returning to the field of real estate. The program’s curriculum covers contracts, agency, prospecting, business planning, finance and working with buyers and sellers. Boston holds membership in the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors.

“My wife and I became homeowners in Northern Virginia while we were posted overseas. As you can imagine we were very nervous about buying a home without ever actually seeing it in person. The Long & Foster agent ”“ working working out of the Falls Church office ”“ who found our home and assisted us through the process, not only had a great sense of what type of home we wanted after speaking with us, but also made us feel comfortable because of her responsiveness and professional demeanor. Because of this positive experience, when I decided to pursue my passion for real estate and become an agent, there was no question that it would be with Long & Foster’s Falls Church Office,” Boston said.

“The dynamics of today’s residential real estate market are constantly changing. Completing our Star Builders program has provided Alex with the right tools to meet those changing dynamics,” said Boomer Foster, president of Long & Foster Real Estate. “We welcome Alex to Long & Foster, a company that has helped local buyers and sellers reach their homeownership goals for more than 45 years.”

Boston holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Yale University, a Master of Public Administration from Princeton University and a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School. He resides in the City of Falls Church along with his spouse, Sia, and two children.
