Real estate professional brings nearly 15 years of experience to new position
Long & Foster Real Estate, the nation’s No. 1 family-owned residential real estate brokerage, has named Matt Benson as the new manager of its Logan Circle office in Washington, D.C. Benson has worked in the real estate business for almost 15 years, and he brings significant career achievements, as well as tremendous respect in the local Realtor community, to his new position.
“I look forward to taking on this new role at Long & Foster and to leading the thriving team of real estate professionals at our Logan Circle office,” said Benson. “I’m passionate about helping real estate agents and their clients to achieve success, and I’m confident my knowledge and experience in real estate sales will greatly help our team in Logan Circle to accomplish their real estate dreams and to even better support buyers and sellers in the Nation’s Capital.”
Benson joined the real estate industry almost 15 years ago. He most recently worked as a top-producing sales associate in Long & Foster’s nearby McLean, Va., office, which reached over a billion dollars in sales in both 2013 and 2014. During Benson’s real estate career, he has sold over $150 million in real estate, an accomplishment he achieved by providing his clients with exceptional service and maintaining a strong work ethic. Benson has earned a reputation for integrity and professionalism, and he will share these values, as well as his sales experience, in his new position with the Logan Circle office.
“Supporting today’s real estate agents takes a highly knowledgeable and skilled leader, and we are confident that with Matt at the helm of our Logan Circle office, we’ll continue to achieve success for our agents and their clients,” said Larry “Boomer” Foster, president of Long & Foster Real Estate. “Adding exceptional leaders to our team is how our company has helped local buyers and sellers meet their homeownership goals for over 45 years and how we’ll continue to do so for the years to come.”
