Rahsha Batiste, a sales associate with Long & Foster Real Estate’s Kempsville Office has earned the both the Military Relocation Professional and the Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource designations of advanced real estate.
Awarded by the National Association of Realtors, the Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource designation recognizes Batiste’s knowledge of how to best help sellers maneuver the complexities of short sales, as well as help buyers purse short sale and foreclosure opportunities.
“Becoming a SFR allows me to assist individuals with their short sale and foreclosure needs,” Batiste said. “Gaining this experience and knowledge has enabled me to be better equipped to serve the Hampton Roads community.”
Also awarded by the National Association of Realtors, the Military Relocation Professional designation recognizes that Batiste has completed studies to learn how to help current and former members of the military with housing. Individuals who receive their MRP designation can help military service members to search for housing that best meets their needs while also benefiting from the various military offerings and support available to them.
“When I moved to Virginia over 20 years ago, I was a military spouse in need of support with relocating from Alabama. In my experience it was extremely helpful to have someone cater to the military population and assist with my relocation needs. Now I have the pleasure to offer my assistance to military families by becoming MRP certified,” Batiste said.
A Realtor since 2014, Batiste has been affiliated with Long & Foster’s Kempsville office since starting her real estate career. Batiste is a member of the Hampton Roads Realtors Association.
