Long & Foster Real Estate has appointed Caitlin McKenna as senior vice president of professional development, a new role focused on strengthening educational, coaching and growth opportunities for the company’s agents. McKenna will help lead initiatives that expand agent education, support business development and advance Long & Foster’s commitment to delivering consumers an All-Inclusive Real Estate Experience.

McKenna began her real estate career in 2017 as a dual-career agent, progressed into roles as sales and training manager, and most recently served as managing broker in Long & Foster’s Columbia, Md., office. There, she helped foster a collaborative culture and implement programs to help agents grow their businesses and better serve buyers and sellers. McKenna is also an active industry leader, currently serving as president of the Howard County Association of Realtors.

In her new role, McKenna will work closely with Long & Foster’s brokerage leadership to build on the success of the company’s existing training programs while introducing new resources designed to help agents adapt to an evolving real estate landscape.
