Long & Foster Real Estate has named David Gillis managing broker of its Fredericksburg office, effective Jan. 14. Gillis will take on the role while continuing to lead the brokerage’s Woodbridge office.

Gillis has served as managing broker in Woodbridge since 2018, where he has focused on agent development, office culture and business growth. He has more than 15 years of experience with Long & Foster, having begun his real estate career in the brokerage’s Centreville office and later holding leadership roles across multiple Northern Virginia locations.

Before his role in Woodbridge, Gillis served as sales manager for Long & Foster’s Annandale and Falls Church offices and co-managed the Falls Church/Arlington office. He earned his associate broker’s license in 2012 and is known for his expertise in real estate sales, negotiation and revenue generation.
