COLONIAL HEIGHTS, VA December 18, 2025 – Kwasi Terkper has successfully completed the requirements to earn associate broker status. Terkper, who has been a real estate agent for five years, is affiliated with Long & Foster Real Estate’s Tri-Cities Southpark office, located in Colonial Heights, VA.
“Getting my broker’s license is important to me because there are so many different directions the future could take me. I decided to get it now when I could focus and not need to rush to have it, as opposed to waiting until I need it for an opportunity in the future. Additionally, the knowledge that comes with obtaining a broker’s license is important in being the best agent I could be to my clients,” Terkper said.
“Kwasi graduated from VCU in 2016 with a degree in Homeland Security and a second degree in Criminal Justice, but immediately began his real estate career with real estate investments. Since becoming licensed in 2020, he has been involved in numerous committees with Southside Virginia Association of Realtors, including serving as co-chair of the Community Engagement committee since 2022. He’s a recipient of the Rookie of the Year award, the Board’s Choice award, and more. Outside doing real estate, he continues to work and volunteer as an EMT, maintains a Class A Contractor License, and plays bass trombone in a local Richmond brass band.”
“A huge congratulations to Kwasi, who exemplifies the expertise, commitment, and professionalism that define Long & Foster’s top-tier agents,” said Patrick Bain, president and CEO of The Long & Foster Companies, parent company of Long & Foster Real Estate.
