The Grove office of Long & Foster Real Estate, will participate in the company’s Community Service Day on June 25th, 2025. The office, located in Richmond, VA will join the brokerage’s over 150 offices in the day of giving back by volunteering at Atlantic Outreach Group. Atlantic Outreach Group (AOG) has recently moved to a larger facility to be able to meet even more community needs. In addition to our quarterly meal deliveries, the Grove office will assist with projects around AOG’s new warehouse including painting, storage organizing, and cleaning the delivery fleet vehicles.
Founded in 2010, Atlantic Outreach Group (AOG) assists those that are overwhelmed by physical, mental, emotional, social, and financial challenges, by providing resources that make positive sustainable changes in their lives. AOG bridges the gap between those in need and those who assist in meeting those needs through effective community programs and services.
“The Long & Foster Grove Office and our Agents take great pride in our relationship working directly with the Atlantic Outreach Group. We feel privileged to donate our time and efforts to give back to those in need within our shared Richmond area communities, and AOG has given us a wonderful opportunity to do so. Being able to deliver kindness to those who have a difficult time obtaining the basic means of survival during these very tough times is an honor we hold very closely. Seeing first-hand the incredible and meaningful impact through AOG within these communities means the world to us every time!” co-coordinator King said.
The Grove office has formed a continual relationship with AOG by volunteering on a quarterly schedule for the past few years and looks forward to future work together.
Long & Foster sales associates and employees from throughout the company will participate in a variety of volunteer activities during Community Service Day. In past years, these activities included cleaning up, refurbishing and repairing nearby parks, schools, shelters, homes and day care centers, and providing other assistance to local organizations that offer crucial services to the community.
“Community Service Day allows our team to make a positive impact on our local communities, and our agents and employees thoroughly enjoy this opportunity to contribute their time and effort,” said Patrick Bain, president and CEO of The Long & FosterCompanies, parent company of Long & Foster Real Estate. “Whether it’s through our annual Community Service Day or one of our other charitable projects, we’re truly glad to give back.”
