A significant milestone in real estate excellence is being celebrated as Jane Applegate and her husband, Roger, who together founded The Applegate Team, mark 50 years of outstanding service at Long & Foster Real Estate.

Jane and Roger began their journey in 1974, and over the decades, their hard work, dedication and passion for real estate have earned them an unparalleled reputation in the Northern Virginia market. During her storied tenure, Jane has consistently been one of Northern Virginia’s top producers, achieving remarkable success year after year. She has been a top producer in her office for an impressive 38 years, a testament to her unwavering commitment to excellence. Jane’s remarkable achievements include over 2,500 transactions, with a career high of 99 transactions in a single year, showcasing her incredible work ethic and dedication to her clients.

Jane’s contributions to the real estate community extend beyond personal sales, having served as two-term president of Long & Foster’s Gold Team, a production-based club for top real estate agents. In that role, Jane’s leadership and vision helped shape the success of her colleagues and the future of the business.

Roger also made his mark in the industry and Long & Foster. He opened and managed the original Burke, Virginia, Long & Foster office, followed by managing the satellite office in Clifton, Virginia. Roger later oversaw the Great Falls, Virginia, office as well. His leadership in these roles helped establish Long & Foster as a dominant presence in the region.
