Long & Foster’s Cathy Saunders Inducted into the Virginia Commonwealth University Founder’s Society

Cathy Saunders, a sales associate with Long & Foster Real Estate’s Grove office, has been Inducted into the Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Founder’s Society. The VCU Founders’ Society honors the most generous and loyal supporters of the university. Saunders is a two-time graduate of VCU having earned a Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Science in Gerontology. Her honors have included being named as an Alumni Star and she established a scholarship in the Department of Gerontology. She is also a season ticket holder for VCU basketball.  

“I’m so fortunate to have the opportunity to give back to the university that was instrumental in making my success possible.”  Saunders said.

A Realtor since 1996, Saunders began her real estate career with Bowers, Nelms and Fonville, which was purchased by Long & Foster in 1998 and affiliated with the Grove Avenue office in Richmond, Virginia since beginning her career.

Saunders is an Associate Broker, Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist, Certified Residential Specialist, Graduate Realtor Institute, Accredited Buyer’s Representative and Senior Real Estate Specialist.
