Event allows real estate agents, brokerage to give back to the local community
The Ocean City, Maryland office of Long & Foster Real Estate, will participate in the company’s Community Service Day on June 27. The Ocean City office will join the brokerage’s over 200 offices in the day of giving back by volunteering on June 27. The public is invited to meet at 118th Street, just north of the Carousel Hotel for free Ocean City Beach Yoga from 7:30 – 8:30 am hosted by Imad Elali followed by beach cleaning at 8:30 am and refreshments at 9:30 am.
“Taking the time to clean up beach litter has numerous benefits, from saving coastal animals and marine life to helping the local economy. By keeping our beaches clean, you ensure that visitors from all over can enjoy their stay and hopefully return year after year,” said Stan Zaremba, Long & Foster’s Ocean City’s manager.
Long & Foster sales associates and employees from throughout the company will participate in a variety of volunteer activities during Community Service Day. In past years, these activities included cleaning up, refurbishing and repairing nearby parks, schools, shelters, homes and daycare centers, and providing other assistance to local organizations that offer crucial services to the community.
