Tonya Morrow, a real estate professional for 26 years, has been named director of business development for Long & Foster Real Estate’s Richmond and Charlottesville/Staunton region. Morrow, who brings significant career achievements to her new position, is well respected in the local Realtor community.
After achieving great success and accomplishment as a real estate agent, Morrow earned her broker’s license in 2014, then began her leadership role with a large national firm, managing over 200 agents. Subsequently, Morrow launched an independent brokerage in the Richmond region, leading the company to become one of the top five offices in resale volume in their location within a year of opening their doors for business.
“I originally practiced real estate in Ohio, then began my real estate career in Virginia at Long & Foster’s Tuckahoe office. It feels really great to be back home,” said Morrow. “It’s exciting to experience the effort that’s been put into keeping the company innovative in an ever-changing real estate market. Long & Foster attracts high-caliber sales associates and clientele and is an industry leader by providing cutting-edge tools, technology and training. I’m so glad to be part of the company again.”
Morrow is active in the Richmond Association of REALTORS. She has served on several committees and is a graduate of the Richmond Leadership Academy.
“We welcome Tonya back and are happy she’s part of the Long & Foster family again,” said Dawn Bradley, senior vice president and Richmond regional manager of Long & Foster Real Estate. “I’m confident that her leadership and support of the agents will ensure their ongoing success helping local buyers and sellers meet their homeownership goals.”
