Long & Foster Real Estate welcomes Sarah Kate Traynham Shepherd to its Grove Avenue office in Richmond, VA. Shepherd, a native Richmonder, has joined her mother’s award-winning Meg Traynham Homes Team and will specialize in working with homebuyers and sellers.

Shepherd resides in Midlothian with her husband, Will, a Charlottesville native and Randolph Macon/Loyola Chicago graduate, their two sons, Liam (4) and Garrett (2), and their crazy rescue dog, Addison. Sheperd is a graduate of St. Gertrude High School and George Mason University, where she competed as a Division 1 swimmer. Her career began with the Governor’s Mansion of Virginia before she moved to Chicago to start her corporate career at The Edgewater Funds. She then returned to her hometown in 2018, where she most recently worked for Harris Williams.

She is an avid sports fan, especially when it comes to the Chicago Cubs, University of Virginia basketball and swimming. When not selling Real Estate, you will find Shepherd and her family visiting with friends and family, hanging out at the swimming pool and frequenting restaurants and breweries around Richmond.
