Sales volumes approaching $100M at the Richmond-based office
Long & Foster Real Estate, the largest independent residential real estate company in the United States, has announced that its Strawberry Street office in Richmond, Va., posted a record-setting sales volume of $94 million thus far for 2014.
According to John Martin, manager of the Strawberry Street office, the 2014 sales volume of $94 million was a substantial 9 percent increase from the volume at the same time last year. Long & Foster’s Strawberry Street office is a small boutique location with 25 agents located in the City of Richmond near Virginia Commonwealth University. The office’s urban setting is attracting more and more buyers that want to live in the popular historic and classic homes of old. Along with the city’s early 1900s homes, Long & Foster’s Strawberry Street office also sells in multiple areas of Richmond and central Virginia, from Chesterfield County to Goochland County.
“Our sales associates work with one goal in mind—to help local buyers and sellers reach their homeownership goals—and this resulted in a banner year for 2014,” Martin said. “We’re proud of our team effort and the results we were able to deliver Long & Foster customers.”
“This type of activity shows that our sales associates are proactive and positive in today’s housing market,” said Gary Scott, president of Long & Foster Real Estate. “For buyers and sellers looking to accomplish their homeownership goals, the Strawberry Street professionals are well-equipped to help consumers identify opportunities in today’s market.”
