The Spanish-style Casa de Amor in Potomac, Maryland, provided the perfect setting for Aston Martin to showcase its new DB11. Hosted by Long & Foster | Christie’s International Real Estate, the May 13 event allowed guests to go for a private test drive in the luxury sports car, which hit the United States market in recent months. The V12, 600 horsepower DB11 features supple leather seats, elegant wood veneers and unyielding steel – all the meticulous work of numerous craftsmen. Even the engine was built by hand and features the name of the individual who built it.
Attendees were also able to view the property, located at 9101 River Road, which is listed by Jorie Koch of W.C. & A.N. Miller, a Long & Foster company. The home has more than 13,000-square-feet of space perfect for entertaining, a gourmet kitchen, climate-controlled wine cellar and an indoor wading pool inspired by the Versace Mansion that’s enclosed by a glass atrium with 22-foot ceilings. The custom residence also has a 2,500-square-foot master suite that includes access to the tower of the home with beautiful views. The property, which is situated on 1.5 acres, is listed for $6.995 million.
