Eric Chen, director of Asia-Pacific initiatives for Long & Foster Real Estate’s Corporate Real Estate Services, recently attended LPS Beijing, a luxury property show held in April. More than 6,000 luxury homeowners and home buyers were in attendance at the event, which had over 120 exhibitors from 35 countries.
At the property show, Chen was able to speak with attendees about how the homebuying process works in the United States as well as what services are available to them through Long & Foster and its powerful networks, including Leading Real Estate Companies of the World, Luxury Portfolio International and Christie’s International Real Estate.
“It was great to be able to meet with home buyers, sellers and owners in Beijing,” Chen said. “Clients really want to collect as much information as they can when it comes to the process of investing in a home, and we wanted to be able to speak with them face-to-face. It was a fantastic opportunity for us and our booth was heavily trafficked throughout the event.”
This is the first time Long & Foster has been represented at LPS Beijing, which is Asia’s leading luxury real estate exhibition. The event included forums, conferences, a VIP reception, cocktail gala and more. The next LPS event will be held in Shanghai in December.
“We feel it’s important to connect with the real estate market on a global scale and LPS Beijing was a great way for us to do so,” said Pandra Richie, president of Long & Foster Real Estate’s Corporate Real Estate Services. “Not only do events like this help us to foster important relationships, but it also helps us to stay as up-to-date and knowledgeable as possible about what’s happening in the market and the industry. We’re so pleased to have had Eric representing Long & Foster in Beijing.”
