Tony Proto, an associate broker with Long & Foster Real Estate’s Virginia Properties Office in Richmond, Va., has earned the Seller Representative Specialist designation. Long & Foster is the largest family-owned residential real estate company in the U.S.

Awarded by the Council of Real Estate Broker Managers, an affiliate of the National Association of Realtors, the SRS designation recognizes Proto as an expert in representing the best interests of sellers as well as elevating and enhancing his professional standards and performance.

“The additional professional training I’ve received for the Seller Representative Specialist designation has furthered the skills I can use and the knowledge I have in representing clients selling their properties. I will apply my enhanced skills and knowledge to provide exceptional support and services to my clients,” Proto said.

A Realtor since 2005, Proto is a consistently-ranked top producing sales agent, and has achieved Chairman’s Club, President’s Club, Silver Team and Gold Team membership throughout his years of affiliation with Long & Foster’s Virginia Properties. Proto also holds the designations of Short Sale and Foreclosures Resource, Senior Housing Specialist and e-PRO. Proto is a member of the National Association of Realtors and both the Virginia Association of Realtors and the Richmond Association of Realtors.A graduate of Virginia Tech, he currently resides in the Richmond area.
