Mortgage consultant earns Ignite Young Professionals of the Year award

The Portage County Business Council recently honored Tia Misoni, a mortgage consultant with Prosperity Home Mortgage (Prosperity), for her philanthropic and community involvement. Misoni received the Ignite Young Professional of the Year award, an honor recognizing one of the top volunteers with the Ignite Young Professionals group.

Ignite focuses on offering network development, social and leadership opportunities for members, as well as encouraging philanthropic and community involvement. Misoni jumped in feet first with the Ignite group and quickly became the co-chair for its Career Committee. She was awarded Board Member of the Year for 2018.

Her greatest passions, besides her full-time career with Prosperity, are children and those in the foster care system. Misoni volunteers much of her time at Social Services in Marathon County and at her son’s school, where she serves as the volunteer coordinator.

When she’s not working or volunteering, Misoni enjoys relaxing with her family on the weekends, as well as traveling with her husband, Nick, and son, Darius. You can learn more about Misoni at https://tia.phmloans.com.
