Long & Foster Real Estate welcomes Sean L. Craft to its Strawberry Street Sales office in Richmond, Virginia. Craft will continue to specialize in working with homebuyers and sellers.

Craft is a degreed Historic Preservationist and Architectural Historian with a life-long passion for real estate, design, history, architecture, and all things having to do with Richmond. He specializes in historic home sales and Richmond city living.

Craft has received four Top Sales Awards from the Richmond Association of Realtors, and is currently ranked in the Top 5 percent nationally as a 5-Star Realtor. He is a Zillow Premier Agent and was recipient of Trulia’s Top 1 percent Agent award. He continues to enjoy 5-Star ratings from his clients on both Trulia and Zillow, consistently selling several million dollars of real estate annually.

Having renovated 13 of his own projects, and dozens more with clients, he brings a valuable skill set to each transaction. Craft also brings years of staging and design experience as the owner of “Lifestyled” a design company he founded in 2007. He continues to work with investors, contractors, and renovators using his expertise to guide buyers to the right home. When necessary, he is able to aid in the selection of colors, fixtures, and floor plan upgrades.  He has flipped over 50 homes.

Craft assists his investor clients with his expertise in foreclosures, short and REO Sales and is well-versed in the requirements of purchasing from banks, Housing & Urban Development, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac. Sean has helped many of his buyers utilize the Federal Housing Administration’s 203k renovation loan program to pay for repairs, upgrades, and renovations.

A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, Craft has lived in Richmond for 30 years, with time spent in Boston, Houston, Washington, D.C., and Manhattan. He was a corporate executive for Coach, Polo Ralph Lauren Jeans, Nautica Marine Denim, Polo Boyswear, Polo Infants and Childrens, and Tommy Hilfiger Women – which all contributed to the sharpening of his marketing, sales, brand management, and customer service skills.

He later went on to be director of development at Virginia Commonwealth University’s Health System, Bon Secours Health System, and Hospital Corporation of America, where he was Vice President of Development, Marketing, and Sales. Craft’s experience in such large markets, working for some of America’s most well-respected brands, has provided him a clear understanding of marketing and sales, giving him an edge that he applies to his real estate business.
