February 10, 2016

Sam Albimino, a sales associate with Long & Foster Real Estate’s Blacksburg office, has earned the Accredited Buyer’s Representative designation. Long & Foster is the largest family-owned residential real estate company in the United States.

Awarded by the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council, an affiliate of the National Association of Realtors, the ABR designation recognizes that Albimino has a unique understanding homebuyers needs and how to best serve them, specialized information to stay on top of home buying issues and trends, and exclusive resources to share with their clients that provides him with a greater competitive edge in today’s market.

“Besides being the largest financial transaction my buyers may ever undertake, it’s probably also the most complex. Serving my clients at a level where their interests become mine not only requires a passion for the real estate business, it also requires being a trained professional who continues to learn. Completing this specialized training and earning the Accredited Buyer’s Representative designation is another example of my commitment to go the extra mile for my clients in delivering the best in buyer-representation services,”Albimino said.

A Realtor since 2014, Albimino affiliated with Long & Foster’s Blacksburg office and joined forces with his wife, Anne-Collins Albimino, to form Anne-Collins Albimino & Associates. In 2015 the team settled $12 million in sales and achieved membership in the firm’s coveted Gold Team on the Founder’s Club.

“Long & Foster is proud of Sam and his commitment to the real estate field,” said Beth Dalton, manager of the Blacksburg office. “Sam is a true professional, and his dedication to his buyers and sellers is a testament to his passion for the industry.”

Albimino is a member of the New River Valley Association of Realtors, the Virginia Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors. A graduate of Virginia Tech University holds a bachelor’s in finance and an MBA, he currently resides in Blacksburg with his spouse and their two daughters, Sophie and Aubrey.
