Long & Foster Real Estate, the No.1 privately owned residential real estate company in the United States, welcomes Ross Hunsberger to its Waldorf, Maryland, office. Hunsberger has joined The Maryland Group of Long & Foster, and he will specialize in working with homebuyers and sellers throughout southern Maryland and surrounding areas.

A native of La Plata, Maryland, Hunsberger received his real estate license in 2015. Prior to joining Long & Foster, he worked with a competing local franchise firm. Hunsberger also worked in marketing and business development, shortly after receiving his bachelor’s degree in business management from Catholic University. While at Catholic, he also played on the school’s baseball team. Hunsberger is no stranger to hard work, both personally and as a part of a team. He puts his experience as a lifelong athlete into his career as a Realtor.

“It’s simple: you get out what you put in. As an athlete, there was never a limit to perfecting my craft,” Hunsberger said. “The same can be said for my role as an agent in the ever-changing world of real estate.  Markets change, technology changes, clients’ needs change, and it’s my job to be at the forefront.”

Hunsberger has also been working with his father and a longtime friend as part of RTR Solutions, LLC, a business about which he’s very passionate. “RTR Solutions is dedicated to revitalizing homes in southern Maryland, and watching a happy buyer purchase his or her dream home is an even more fulfilling experience knowing that we helped bring that that vision to life,” he shared.

In addition to his real estate and construction work, Hunsberger volunteers as a basketball referee and coach with Special Olympics and has been doing so for the past two years.
