Real estate professional brings over 30 years of experience to new position

Long & Foster Real Estate, the nation’s No. 1 family-owned residential real estate company, has named Paul DiCicco as the managing broker of its Burke/Fairfax Station/Clifton office in Burke, Virginia. DiCicco, who previously worked with Long & Foster, brings over 30 years of real estate experience to his new leadership position.

“I’m excited to return to the Long & Foster family and lead the team of real estate professionals in Burke, Fairfax Station and Clifton,” said DiCicco. “Long & Foster is known for providing its agents the best tools, technology and training available, and I’m confident that with the company’s exceptional support and my real estate expertise, our office and agents will achieve even greater success in real estate.”

DiCicco most recently served as Regional Director in Virginia and West Virginia for a competing local brokerage. In that role, he worked directly with franchise owners, ensuring implementation of the brokerage’s growth systems and models in the field. Prior to that, he led another local brokerage office, overseeing their sales, recruiting, retention and training efforts.

The bulk of DiCicco’s career, however, was spent with the Long & Foster family, which he joined in 1989 upon moving to Northern Virginia from Massachusetts. At Long & Foster, he quickly rose among the ranks, moving from a top agent to a leading manager and finally a regional manager. In the latter role, he grew the company’s Northern Virginia division while maintaining its agent-focused approach, building trust and rapport with his managers and agents. In his new role at Long & Foster, he will rely on the knowledge and skills gained during these experiences to help the Burke office even better support their local buyers and sellers.

“It takes a highly knowledge and experienced leader to help real estate agents achieve success in today’s competitive environment,” said Larry “Boomer” Foster, president of Long & Foster Real Estate. “We are confident that naming Paul to the helm of our Burke/Fairfax Station/Clifton office will help us continue to do just that. This is how our company has helped local buyers and sellers meet their homeownership goals for nearly 50 years and how we’ll continue to do so in the years to come.”
