Kris Feldman, a top producing Realtor with nearly 30 years of experience, has joined the Bethesda Gateway office of Long & Foster Real Estate, the largest independent residential real estate company in the United States. She comes to Long & Foster from Coldwell Banker, where she served as a senior agent on the Jane Fairweather Team. Feldman brings to her position a wealth of experience in residential real estate sales, as well as an in-depth knowledge of the Washington, D.C., area real estate market.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Kris to our team of highly trained professionals in Bethesda, Md.,” said Gary Scott, president of Long & Foster Real Estate. “As the No. 1 brokerage in the Mid-Atlantic region, we operate with an agent-first mentality. We look forward to the energetic partnership Kris has created by deciding to join the industry-leading Bethesda Gateway office and our company.”

A native of Toledo, Ohio, and graduate of Ohio State University, Feldman relocated to the Washington, D.C., area more than 30 years ago. She brought with her a down-to-earth and positive Midwestern attitude, as well as a strong commitment to hard work and her clients’ success, that helped her attract hundreds of buyers and sellers, as well as industry recognition, over the years. Feldman joined a local brokerage in Montgomery County upon her arrival to the region, soon after partnering with Fairweather. They worked together for many years with the team becoming one of the top in the nation and earning similar honors in the local community and region.

Feldman greatly enjoyed being part of the team, but as her career entered a new phase, she decided to head out on her own, selecting Long & Foster as her new brokerage.

“I’ve worked alongside Long & Foster sales associates for many years, and I’ve always been impressed by the company’s focus on providing their buyers and sellers with exceptional service, while also encouraging their agents’ careers,” said Feldman. “I’m confident that with the support of the Long & Foster team in Bethesda Gateway, as well as the firm’s valuable marketing and technology tools, including its affiliation with Christie’s International Real Estate, I’ll be able to help my clients achieve even greater success.”

Throughout her career, Feldman has sold hundreds of millions of dollars of homes, assisting move-up and first-time home buyers throughout Montgomery County. She specializes in residential real estate sales, including luxury homes, and has earned a reputation among her clients as the person who can “get the deal done,” she said. Additionally, Feldman’s decades-long experience in the Bethesda and Potomac real estate market has provided her with incomparable market knowledge and neighborhood insights, as well as a remarkable ability to assess property values with tremendous accuracy—a talent her buyers and sellers greatly appreciate.

“Long & Foster continues to lead the way with cutting-edge tools and technology, which attracts top real estate professionals such as Kris,” said Leon Nasar, manager of Long & Foster’s Bethesda Gateway office. “With the best-trained, best-equipped agents, Long & Foster continues to help Montgomery County area buyers and sellers reach their homeownership goals.”

Feldman is a member of the National Association of Realtors and holds the Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR) designation. She is a tireless advocate for Alzheimer’s and scleroderma research. Feldman currently resides in Potomac, Md., with her husband, Bob. They have two children and a blonde cockapoo, Tucker.
