Vicki Hamp, regional vice president of Long & Foster’s Corporate Real Estate Services, presided over the Relocation Directors Council (RDC) spring event in Atlanta, Georgia, on May 16.

The Relocation Directors Council is a non-profit organization comprised of real estate leaders from brokerages throughout the United States who are specialists in employee relocation services. The RDC event was highly attended with 166 members present.

Hamp was named president of RDC at the beginning of the year. She advanced to the position according to the organization’s executive board election and term of office progression. The board of directors consists of 11 members and as president, Hamp is responsible for all meetings and events, and overseeing all other member activities. This included identifying a 2017 theme to motivate and inspire the organization’s members. Hamp opened the spring event with the following message “People with great passion can make the impossible happen.” The event’s keynote speaker was Gino Blefari, CEO of HSF Affiliates, LLC, who spoke about his seven principles of success.

“Members came prepared to passionately discuss the matters relevant to our industry today and that’s exactly how, as an organization, we are able to make positive change and support growth,” Hamp said.  “We had near-record attendance and it was an excellent opportunity to learn about what’s happening in employee mobility in other parts of the country and network with others in the professional community”.

The semi-annual RDC event was held in conjunction with Worldwide ERC’s Americas Mobility Conference, held from May 17-19, also in Atlanta. While attending the Worldwide ERC conference, Hamp was presented with the organization’s Distinguished Service Award, which she was honored with earlier this year.
