Long & Foster’s Donahue Team Wins Outstanding Service Award

Long & Foster Real Estate is proud to announce that the Donahue Team with Long & Foster’s Grove office received the Grove office 2018 Outstanding Service Award.

This award is presented annually to one sales associate in each residential office, who displays the qualities and traits that have made Long & Foster a great company.  These qualities, on which the company was founded and has grown, are listed below.  This award is special and unique because it is bestowed by fellow associates who vote for the associate in their office who most typifies the Long & Foster spirit.

The Donahue Team has organized the Grove office to serve lunch and deliver goodie bags to the residents of Jones & Jones Assisted Living Facility on several occasions. In addition, they participate in the Virginia Commonwealth University Massey Cancer Challenge, which is dedicated to raising funds for cancer research. They, alongside other agents in the Grove office, support Binford Middle School by donating school supplies, food, and clothes and conduct a Toys for Tots toy drive each holiday season. Jeff Donahue is currently serving as the president of the Southampton Citizens Association and Ellie Boyd is serving as a trustee on the board at Good Shepherd Episcopal School.

Marianne Donahue has been a professional in the real estate industry since 1990 and has been a Richmond Association of Realtors (RAR) distinguished achiever for over 23 years. She recently rotated off the RAR board of directors and has served on many other boards and committees over the years. Jeff Donahue, currently serving on the Richmond Board of Equalization, joined Marianne Donahue in 2007.  Ellie Boyd truly made it a family business when she joined her parents in 2014. Peter Boyd, Ellie’s husband, earned his real estate license and joined the team in 2018.
