Long & Foster’s Commercial Division Represented Parties in Falls Church, Virginia Sale of 18,000 Square Foot Office/Flex Building

April 8, 2019

Kathy Killion and Michael Shor, with the Commercial Division of Long & Foster Real Estate in Tysons, Virginia, recently closed a $2.3 million transaction in Falls Church, Virginia.

Killion and Shor represented the parties in the sale of an approximately 18,000 square foot office/flex building, located in Falls Church. It was a unique building that was a former TV studio space. The sellers were pleased with the quick and effortless transaction.

The buyers, Lynelle and Walter Palencia, will be opening a music school and recording studios called “Crescendo,” expected to open in the fall of 2019.

“We’re very excited to open a new music school and recording studios so close to the Mosaic District and Dunn Loring Metro,” said Lynelle and Walter Palencia.

The factors influencing the buyer’s decision included a great location in an up-and-coming market, a unique building with high ceilings and plenty of parking, which was a great fit for their new business, and the close proximity to Washington, D.C. and the local interstate system.

“We’re very pleased to have orchestrated this transaction for the buyers and sellers,” said Ron Glass, vice president and managing broker of the Long & Foster Commercial Division. “We’re confident this will be a good fit for the buyer.”
