Constance "CJ" Davis is one of the top 50 finalists for the 2014 "30 Under 30" program.

Long & Foster Real Estate, Inc., the largest independent residential real estate company in the United States, today announced that Constance “CJ” Davis has been named among the top 50 finalists in the 2014 Class of “30 Under 30.” The event is organized by Realtor Magazine, the official publication of the National Association of Realtors.

The “30 Under 30” program recognizes rising young agents based on qualities such as commitment and dedication to the real estate industry, creativity and ingenuity, the level of service they offer to their clients, sales volume and anecdotal information about mentors who have helped them in their careers. Launched by Realtor Magazine in 1999 as a way to showcase young talent, the publication has received thousands of applications from qualified candidates.

Davis, who is 29 years old, is committed to being a strong advocate for her clients while helping them navigate an exciting and sometimes challenging real estate market in the D.C. area. In 2013, she earned $9.75 million in individual sales, representing more than 25 transactions. Davis is a recognized expert in buyer representation with a focus on first-time home buyers looking to purchase in D.C. and Montgomery County, Md. Davis received her ABR Designation in 2013 and currently serves on the GCAAR Events Committee. She has been a buyer specialist with Koki & Associates, Inc., since 2012.

“I am honored to be considered out of the thousands of agents across the country who applied to Realtor Magazine’s ’30 Under 30′ program,” Davis said. “This is the biggest achievement of my career thus far and I’m proud to be included in such a great group of talented and hard-working real estate agents. It’s wonderful to be recognized for doing the work I love. Real estate has been a way to showcase my true personality and capabilities – I look forward serving my clients and community for many years to come.”

Under the recognition program, the final 30 winners are selected by a panel of judges. In addition, the candidates’ peers are encouraged to vote for their favorites online. The candidate who garners the most online votes will be honored during the Young Professionals Network reception at the 2014 Realtors Conference & Expo in New Orleans, La., in November. In addition, all honorees will be featured in the May/June issue of REALTOR Magazine.

“We are proud of CJ Davis and of all the Long & Foster sales agents who have previously been named finalists and who have been inducted into Realtor Magazine’s ‘30 Under 30,'” said Gary Scott, president of Long & Foster Real Estate Inc. “We recognize the importance this honor represents to Long & Foster and to our industry and we congratulate CJ on her accomplishments. Being named a finalist to the ‘30 Under 30′ program demonstrates her hard work and leadership, and she is very deserving of this recognition.”
