Long & Foster Real Estate is proud to announce that Carol Wilson received the Mel Stout Ethics Award and Terri Sensing received the Good Neighbor Award from New Castle County Board of Realtors (NCCBOR). Both Wilson and Sensing are sales associates in the Greenville sales office of Long & Foster Real Estate.

The Mel Stout Ethics Award honors the memory of NCCBOR friend Mel Stout. Mel taught the Code of Ethics course for the NCCBOR for 25 years and practiced what he preached. He lived his life by keeping promises and always doing the right thing. This award recognizes an agent who upholds the high level of ethical and moral standards for which he stood.

Carol Wilson, recipient of the Mel Stout Ethics Award, has been assisting individuals and families in Delaware and Pennsylvania since 1983. She is unwavering in her allegiance to the highest client care from initial contact to settlement and beyond. Her experience and dedication to the industry makes her an extraordinary asset in every transaction.

The Good Neighbor Award is given to an NCCBOR member who, outside of board or company activity, voluntarily contributes to a community service activity for the betterment of the community (not necessarily related to real estate issues).

Terri Sensing, recipient of the Good Neighbor Award, is a lifetime member of Long & Foster’s Million Dollar Club and has earned the Realty Alliance award for sales performance multiple times. In addition to her extensive involvement in the real estate industry, she is an active volunteer in the community. Good Neighbor Home Repair, Hockessin Methodist Church and the Hockessin Community 4th of July parade are only a few of the organizations in which she donates her time and effort. Terri and her husband Andy recently went to Houston, Texas to assist with Hurricane Harvey recovery work.

“Long & Foster is proud that the New Castle County Board of Realtors has recognized Carol and Terri’s many accomplishments and their commitment to the industry,” said R.T. Christopher, manager of the Greenville Sales office.  “Both Carol and Terri are true professionals in the real estate industry and their dedication to their buyers and sellers is a testament to their passion for the real estate industry.”

“It’s the commitment of agents like Carol and Terri that have enabled them to earn honors such as these, and we’re proud to have both of them part of the Long & Foster family,” said Gary Scott, president of Long & Foster Real Estate. “Our company has a reputation of honesty, integrity and best-in-class customer service that spans 50 years and the talent of professionals like Carol and Terri is why we remain the top real estate company in the Mid-Atlantic.”
