Top sale, Wye Town Farm, sold for over $11.8 million by Cliff Meredith
Long & Foster Real Estate, the nation’s No. 1 family-owned residential real estate company, is pleased to announce that it sold the three most expensive properties in Maryland in 2015. Cliff Meredith, a leading real estate agent with Long & Foster’s Easton, Md., office, listed all three of the state’s top sales for last year and represented the buyers on two of the three transactions. Craig Linthicum, also a leading associate in the company’s Easton office, represented the buyer on the remaining transaction.
Also noteworthy for the Maryland real estate market were Meredith’s sales for 2015. In total, he sold nearly $68.5 million of real estate, which was more than double the amount any other agent sold in Talbot County, Md. Below are details on the top three sales in the state for 2015.
Wye Town Farm, 10710 Wye Town Farm Road, Easton, Md.
Built in 1991, the 12,000-square-foot home at Wye Town Farm is filled with unparalleled features that make this Chesapeake Bay property a truly elegant retreat. Built in 1991, the estate is just shy of 40,000 square feet and boasts nine bedrooms, a grand entry hall, gourmet kitchen and several formal rooms. This magnificent home also features several corporate amenities including multiple conference rooms. Listed and sold by Meredith, Bracebridge Hall closed for $7.6 million.
